One app for all your crypto moves
Ledger Live runs on desktop and mobile and covers 15,000+ coins and NFTs across 100+ chains. Install it, pair a Ledger signer, and your keys stay offline the whole time.
Six things you'll do in the first week
Ledger Live replaces the half-dozen tabs you keep open to track, trade and stake — and every action still ends with your approval on the signer.
Buy without the guesswork
Get quotes from competing providers and see the rate and the fees before you approve anything.
Swap across chains
Move between assets and networks from the app. Every detail is shown on the signer's screen before you confirm.
Put idle crypto to work
Stake ETH, SOL and popular stablecoins while the keys stay on your device. Positions and rewards track in the same view.
See the whole portfolio
Balances, history and profit and loss across every account and address you own, in one place instead of six.
Reach dApps without extensions
Connect to DeFi, marketplaces and Web3 apps straight from Ledger Live. No browser extension or middleware in the middle.
Keep your NFTs beside your tokens
Send, receive and view the NFTs you hold in the same app as everything else, with ownership verified on the signer.
Get Ledger Live for your machine
Free to download and free to use. Every link here points at Ledger's own servers or the official app stores — never a mirror.
Ledger Live for desktop
Windows 10 or later, macOS 11 or later, or a Linux AppImage. The full app on a big screen, with your signer plugged in over USB.
Ledger Live for mobile
iOS 13 or later, and Android 8 or later. Pair over Bluetooth and confirm every transfer on the signer's screen, wherever you are.
Your keys are created on the signer and never leave it
Ledger Live is a window, not a vault. Your recovery phrase is generated on the signer and stays there: the app can read your balances and prepare a transfer, but nothing moves until you read the details on the device screen and press to approve.
Why not just leave your crypto on an exchange?
Both give you a dashboard and a mobile app. The difference is who is able to move your assets without asking you first.
Ledger Live + a signer
The app you're downloading, paired with a Ledger device.
Software wallet
A browser or phone wallet where the keys sit on the device you browse with.
Exchange app
A custodial account where the platform controls the assets.
From download to first transfer in three steps
The only thing you need in hand is your signer and the recovery phrase you wrote down when you first set it up.
Download and install Ledger Live
Pick your platform above and run the installer, or install from the App Store or Google Play. It's free on every one of them.
Connect your Ledger signer
Unlock the device with your PIN, then connect over USB or Bluetooth. The app recognises it and shows what's already on it.
Add your accounts and move
Add one account per asset you hold. Balances, history and prices appear straight away, and you're ready to send, swap or stake.
Questions people ask before they download
Yes. The app is free to download and free to use. You only pay the network fee on the transactions you send, plus whatever a third-party provider charges if you buy, swap or stake through the app.
To move crypto, yes. The signer is where your keys live and where every transfer is approved, so the app can never send anything on its own. You can install Ledger Live and look around first. If you don't own one yet, compare the Ledger signers before you buy anything.
No. Your recovery phrase is generated on the signer and never leaves it. The app has no field to type it into and never asks for it. Anyone who asks you for those 24 words, including someone claiming to be Ledger support, is trying to take your assets.
Both work, and plenty of people run both. Desktop suits longer sessions: reviewing the portfolio, comparing providers, staking. Mobile suits approving a transfer while you're out, over Bluetooth. Connect the same signer and the accounts you added appear on either.
Use the links on this page. They go to Ledger's own download servers, the App Store and Google Play, and nowhere else. The app is now branded Ledger Wallet, so the installer and the store listing may carry either name; both are Ledger's. Ledger never asks you to install a browser extension, and there is no legitimate Ledger Live download on a mirror site or behind a link somebody sent you.
Your crypto sits on the blockchain, not on the device; the device holds the keys that reach it. You can restore the same accounts on a replacement Ledger signer with your recovery phrase. Lose the device and the phrase together and the assets are unreachable, which is why the phrase is the one thing to keep offline and somewhere separate.
Download it. Pair it. Own it.
It's free, it runs on desktop and mobile, and nothing moves without your approval on the signer.
